Chubini: Saperavi

Chubini Saperavi 2023 is a bold Georgian red, macerated for 4 months with chacha in traditional qvevri for an extra layer of depth and character. On the nose it’s immediately fruity and inviting, leading into a medium-bodied palate that stays juicy and smooth. The finish is pleasantly clean and lingering, making it dangerously easy to pour a second glass. Perfect when you want something soulful, but still fresh and drinkable.

Founded in 2016 by Tornike Chubinidze, Chubini Wine Cellar is a family-run, small-production winery in the village of Shilda, Kakheti. The cellar is located in the foothills of the Caucasus mountains overlooking the Alazani River. Located in the eastern part of Georgia, the wine hotspot of the country, the region’s climate provides an optimal environment for cultivating indigineous Georgian grape varieties. Chubini limits their production as they prioritize producing the finest quality wine.
