Chubini: Amber Blend

Chubini Rkatsiteli 2023 is a “democratic” amber wine made to be approachable—even if you’re new to skin-contact whites. It spends 6 months macerating on the skins (no stalks), building a firm, tea-like tannic structure while staying lifted and aromatic. Expect ripe orchard fruit, dried citrus, gentle spice and a dry, grippy finish that feels gastronomic rather than heavy. A perfect gateway amber: characterful, food-friendly, and easy to understand.

Founded in 2016 by Tornike Chubinidze, Chubini Wine Cellar is a family-run, small-production winery in the village of Shilda, Kakheti. The cellar is located in the foothills of the Caucasus mountains overlooking the Alazani River. Located in the eastern part of Georgia, the wine hotspot of the country, the region’s climate provides an optimal environment for cultivating indigineous Georgian grape varieties. Chubini limits their production as they prioritize producing the finest quality wine.
